The Center Low Moisture Food Safety Grant Team Members Recognized at IAFP Annual Meeting

The USDA NIAFA-funded Center for Low Moisture Food Safety team members received various awards and were recognized for those achievements at the 2022 International Association for Food Protection Annual Meeting in July 2022

The International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) Annual Meeting brings together food safety professionals from around the world. In July 2022, team members of the Center for Low Moisture Food Safety were recognized for their achievements: 

  • Dr. Yaohua "Betty" Feng, Purdue University, received the IAFP Larry Beuchat Young Researcher Award
  • Dr. Elliot Ryser, Michigan State University, received the IAFP Honorary Lifetime Membership Award
  • Andrew Kearney, Michigan State University Biosystems Engineering Senior, received 1st place in the IAFP Undergraduate Poster Competition
