Heroes to Hives Online Program

MSU Extension Heroes to Hives Beekeeping Workshops

Michigan State University Extension (MSU Extension) Heroes to Hives workshops are open to Veterans, Reservists, Active Duty and National Guard members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their adult children, living and surviving spouses, partners, and caregivers. Participants are not required to be actively enrolled in Michigan Food & Farming System's Heroes to Hives program, but workshop registration is required. The workshops cover hive handling, colony inspections, and pest and pathogen management. Please direct questions specific to MSU Extension Heroes to Hives beekeeping workshops to MSU Extension at h2h@msu.edu. There are no upcoming MSU Extension Heroes to Hives Beekeeping Workshops scheduled; all workshops in the 2024 beekeeping season took place May-July.
