Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Climate Solutions

Who We Are

The Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) has over ten faculty working on climate solutions. Our faculty are creating innovative engineering solutions to modern-day climate questions. Since 1906, BAE has responded to the changing needs of society by integrating and applying principles of engineering and biology in a systems context. With areas ranging from electric tractors to identifying bacteria left behind on recycling materials, biosystems engineers are leading the way.

Our Mission

To improve quality of life by integrating and applying principles of engineering and biology to systems involving food, environment, energy, and health.

Climate Solutions Faculty Positions

As part of the Agricultural Climate Resiliency Program BAE has been awarded two faculty positions. The faculty positions will have a 60% research and 40% Extension appointments. Read more about the postings here
