Learn about all aspects of the farm and how to properly care for animals at MSU Extension’s 4-H Meets Wolcott: Farming 101 – Animals & Agriculture series. A total of 8 sessions will be held on Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center, 65775 Wolcott Road, Ray Township. The program is FREE and open to all youth ages 5-19. Attend one or more sessions.  

  • October 27 – Tour/Introduction – attendance is highly recommended
  • November 10 – Introduction to Swine 
  • November 24 – Introduction to Poultry
  • December 8 – Introduction to Rabbits
  • January 12 – Introduction to Sheep 
  • January 26 – Introduction to Goats 
  • February 9 – Equine Exploration 
  • February 23 – Dairy Cattle/Milk Exploration
