Dr. M. Jahi Johnson-Chappell is the Director of the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems and W.K. Kellogg Foundation Endowed Chair in Food & Society, focusing on agroecology, food sovereignty, and social justice. He advocates for transforming food systems by centering community power, equity, and sustainable, farmer-led practices rather than just increasing production.
