Earn ServSafe® Food Safety Manager certification with help from MSU Extension.
MSU Extension offers 8-hour ServSafe® Food Safety Manager Training and Exam, a national certification program. A National Restaurant Association-approved instructor conducts six hours of instruction and then administers the ServSafe Food Safety Manager exam. This class is designed for anyone working in the food service industry, including non-profit organizations.
Participants must receive a 70% score or better to pass this exam and receive their Food Safety Manager Certificate. All exams are graded by the National Restaurant Association and take approximately 7-10 business days to process.
ServSafe® printed exams are available in French Canadian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Registration Information
The cost of the 8-hour course is $75 per person and does not include the cost of the ServSafe Manager 9th edition book.
Textbook Requirement - Must Purchase Separately
After registering for this class, you will receive a confirmation message that includes the instructions on how to purchase a ServSafe 9th edition book that includes an answer sheet.
