Michigan 4-H License Plate Promotion Contest

As part of the Michigan State Fair 4-H and Youth Virtual Showcase, youth (ages 8-19 as of Jan 1, 2026) are invited to create a video or non-video promotional piece encouraging others to purchase the Michigan 4-H license plate.
Youth can enter both divisions: video and non-video
Video- maximum of 90 seconds in length, must feature youth participant on camera speaking directly to the audience
Non-video- could include flyers, posters, or other graphics and marketing materials
There are three age divisions: 8-11, 12-15 and 16-19 (as of Jan 1, 2026)
Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, connection to the Michigan 4-H License Plate and theme, visual appeal and ability to promote effectively.
Gift card prizes will be awarded and winners will be showcased on the Michigan 4-H social media channels. Thank you to the Michigan 4-H Foundation for providing prizes for winners!
By entering, you grant Michigan 4-H permission to use your design for promotional purposes.
