This field day will demonstrate live response to manure spills. Control, containment, and cleanup techniques will be demonstrated. This is an opportunity to bring your entire crew for a live demonstration on manure spill response control. Proper use of 4-gas monitors will also be demonstrated.
This event is primarily for farms that apply manure and manure application firms. First responders are also welcome to attend.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. with the event beginning at 8:30 a.m. It will conclude at 10:30 a.m.
The field day location is the wheat field on the northwest corner of South Pittsford Road and Burt Road in Hillsdale County, MI. Look for field day signs.
