MSU Extension, MSU Pesticide Safety Education Program, and MDARD PPPMD are offering an in-person Core Manual review class followed by Core pesticide applicator certification testing.
Tests available are:
- Private and commercial core
- Fumigation standard
- Aerial standard
NO COMMERCIAL CATEGORY TESTS.
ATTENDANCE FOR THE CORE REVIEW IS MANDATORY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IN-PERSON TESTING.
The 4-hour review covers all chapters of the National Pesticide Applicators Certification Core Manual. The review is held in the morning and the MDARD exams are given that afternoon. We recommend participants read and study the Core Manual before attending the review. Copies may be ordered from: https://msupesticidemanuals.com/. Cost: $25.00
4 RUP recertification credits for the Core are now available. Please indicate if you want credits when registering.
There are no on-site fees to take the MDARD proctored exam. MDARD staff will provide a self-addressed stamp envelope to send in certification fees for everyone that passes the exam.
Changing registration to another site or refunds are allowed only under limited conditions. To request a change in location or refund, contact Melissa Burns at the Lenawee County MSU Extension office, 517-264-5315, or Laura Miller at the Hillsdale County MSU Extension office, 517-439-9301.
