Earn ServSafe® certification with help from MSU Extension.
MSU Extension offers ServSafe® Manager Training and Certification, which is a national certification program. This class is designed for anyone working in the foodservice industry, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations.
Certification exam is taken at the end of the day. Participants must receive a 70% score on the exam to earn certification. ServSafe® printed exams are available in French Canadian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Registration Information
The course is $75 per person. The required textbook with the answer sheet, ServSafe® Manager 9th edition with answer sheet, is sold separately. After registering for this class, you will receive a confirmation message that includes options to purchase a ServSafe® 9th edition that includes an answer sheet. Please get your book and read it before attending class. There may also be texbooks available to check out from the library.

Instructors
Classes are taught by MSU Extension educators, who are certified instructors and exam proctors through the National Restaurant Association.
