Together, we'll how to identify spotted lanternfly (SLF), understand its life cycle, and discover why this invasive insect is a growing concern.
Participants will see a demonstration of a simple and effective "lampshade trap" that can be installed on trees to help monitor and manage SLF populations. You'll also learn how to recognize and remove egg masses and take practical steps to help slow the spread of this invasive pest in your community.
This workshop is ideal for homeowners, gardeners, and anyone interested in protecting our natural and agricultural resources. No prior knowledge or experience necessary. Come ready to learn!
