JOB TITLE: Landscape Design Intern (Non-Exempt) Seasonal/PT

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Landscape & Holiday Lighting

 

Range: $18-$20/hour

 

 

OBJECTIVE:

The Landscape Intern is responsible to help create professional designs and to help prepare accurate timely price quotes. You will be assisting and performing some site work, along with helping to measure, take pictures and shooting grades. Your position will help create work packets and call MISS DIG. You will also assist in the creation of renderings and presentation boards. Rotational program is also available.

 

 

 

POSTION SUMMARY:

· Ability to adhere to and follow all English Gardens safety procedures and protocol

· Must be able to cover open/close shifts for the Senior Designer/Designer

· Help the Senior Designer stay informed about the landscape projects they are working on

· Must be able to communicate well with the Designer and other types of workers, contractors, landscape team members

· Assist with drawings, invoices and the general business paperwork

· Assist the Designer in keeping good records, including everything from customer correspondence to reports

· Ability to help with sketching and drawing or computer savvy to create realistic drawings by hand

· Help reach installation goals of , client satisfaction, quality project and profitable project

· Ability to learn and grow from Designer

· Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task

· Computer skills and drafting skills a plus
