Position Title -

Landscape Installation Technician

This majority of the tasks within this position are performed while working on the Softscape Crew. This person is responsible for working as an installer under the direct supervision of the Softscape Foreman. In addition, this position may also gain experience working on the Hardscape Crew, in order to meet labor and scheduling needs.

Duties may include the following:

· Loading, unloading, and installing landscape materials such as plant material, mulch, decorative stone, fabric, edging, drainage materials, drip irrigation on plants, etc.

· Cleaning of Jobsites and Shop.

· Trailer, tool, shop, and jobsite organization.

· Digging trenches and holes, raking, compacting earth and backfilling.

· Assist with the installation of Hardscapes including but not limited to retaining walls, patios, driveways, stairways.

· Learn the safe and efficient way to operate power tools and machinery.

The ideal Candidate will:

· Have the ability to act professionally with all team members, and in the presence of clients or other members of external organizations.

· Work an 8 – 10 hour day, Monday – Friday. Start times vary between 7 and 7:30 am depending on the work schedule.

· The physical stamina to work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis.
