Student Research Position (Dilley Mentorship Fellowship Program)

The Einhorn tree fruit physiology lab is seeking an undergraduate student worker through the Dilley Mentorship Fellowship program to assist with research while being mentored by a graduate student. Ideal applicants will be in their sophomore year or later, interested in research, and highly self-motivated. 
 
The selected student will learn a variety of laboratory techniques, assist with novel apple research, and have the opportunity to present their work at university and regional trade events. The student will meet weekly with their graduate student mentor to discuss their research and career goals.
 
Students should plan to be available at least 10 hours a week through the fall semester with further employment available based on aptitude. 
 
Compensation will be $13-$15 per hr, depending on experience.
