Tasks include, (but not limited to)
• Dishes
• Media preparation
• Autoclave
• Plate preparation
• Plant ‘manicuring’
• Tissue culture (sterile techniques)
• CRISPR
Requirements
• Be registered as a MSU undergraduate student
• Be able to work during Summer break
• Attention to details
• Manual dexterity
• Good communication skills
• Reliability
• Punctuality
Hours/Pay
(* To be discussed during the interview)
• $15/hour
• Flexible workdays and hours between normal working hours
• A couple of hours/week* for the training in the Spring
• As many hours as needed/wanted* in the Summer (up to 40 hours/week)
• Possibility to keep the position past the Summer semester* (limited hours during Fall semester)
