A new publication outlines research priorities co-produced by agricultural stakeholders and scientists for the future direction of the KBS LTAR site.
We are excited to announce the publication of “A Co-Produced Roadmap for Future Research at the KBS LTAR Site. Michigan farmers, researchers, and partners collaborated at past KBS LTAR Summits and stakeholder to identify key challenges and opportunities to advance resilient and productive agricultural systems. The co-produced research priority areas include: (1) crop diversification; (2) nutrient cycling and livestock integration; (3) tillage management; (4) precision inputs and conservation; (5) soil health; and (6) systems integration. These priority areas are detailed in the publication and will guide future research efforts for KBS LTAR scientists and partners.
