Alyssa published an article: "Dynamics of N2O in vicinity of plant residues: a microsensor approach".
Alyssa Kim, a PHD candidate from Kravchenko Lab has published her second chapter of her dissertation study in journal Plant and Soil, with a title of Dynamics of N2O in vicinity of plant residues: a microsensor approach.
Coauthors of this publication is Dr. Turgut Kutlu, Dr. Sasha Kravchenko, and Dr. Andrey Guber. They used electrochemical microsensors to measure the temporal dynamics of N2O and O2 near the decomposing plant (Switchgrass, var. Cave-In-Rock) leaves and roots. They showed that microsensors are useful tools to monitor biochemical processes in soil microsites.
