Dr. Harrigan'recently took a'trip to St. Louis, Senegal as part of the USAID Appropriate Scale Mechanization Consortium.

Dr. Harrigan recently took a trip to St. Louis, Senegal as part of the USAID Appropriate Scale Mechanization Consortium. While there, Dr. Harrigan conducted a five-day training session for artisan blacksmiths on how to replicate forage choppers for small-scale farmers in their region. This process will help improve animal nutrition family health across many regions of the country.
