Installing ESET on Mac using the Self Service App (JAMF)

Instructions for installing ESET Endpoint Protection on a Mac that uses the MSU Self Service App.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to schedule at least 30 minutes during which you will not need to use your computer. When installing ESET, your computer screen will be locked and may take up to 30 minutes to complete, including an automatic restart.

  1. Open the Self Service App.
  2. Enter ESET into the search.
  3. Select Install.

  5. REMINDER: Your computer will be locked at this point and it may take up to 30 minutes for the installation process to complete including an automatic restart.
