Future online vegetable courses – weigh in with your thoughts
Michigan State University Extension seeks public’s interest for future online vegetable courses. Take the survey online today.
Interested in learning more about how to grow great tomatoes? How to create your own compost? Or learning more in depth growing requirements for specific vegetable crops? If so, Michigan State University Extension’s consumer horticulture group has designed an online educational vegetable gardening program interest survey to help gauge your interest in future online vegetable courses.
Anyone interested in learning more about growing vegetables is encouraged to complete this survey. Responses will be completely confidential and will help the team in designing future courses to better meet the needs of those interested. This survey will only be available until July 20, so take the survey now! The survey contains only 15 questions and should only take a few minutes to complete.
Online learning options are continuing to be popular with the public. As schedules fill up and lives remain busy, many participants like the convenience of being able to view recordings of class sessions on their own time. If learners are looking for convenience or if they would like additional online class components beyond a webinar or recording, this survey will help MSU Extension design the courses to meet participants’ needs.
We would like to know what time length for an online course is most advantageous for participants, whether or not including online class discussion times would be beneficial, and if they’d like additional learning opportunities outside of the online discussion presentation or webinar, such as readings, class blogs, or how-to video viewings. Participants’ responses to specific vegetable gardening topics will help the team in creating and scheduling the courses according to the highest interest. Tell us your interests for future online vegetable courses by taking the survey now!
