Michigan Cabbage Cost of Production 2024 report is available from MSU Extension
This new MSU Extension bulletin shows cost breakdowns and provides estimated revenues and profits.
The Michigan Cabbage Cost of Production 2024 report is now available on the MSU Extension website, published as Bulletin E-3532. The executive summary describes the major numbers and trends found, while the main body of the report offers more specific details on the costs of production.
This study evaluated the production of both fresh cabbage and processed cabbage varieties. Costs and revenues were analyzed based on existing price information for the 2024 crop year. Tables are also included in the report that break down the costs and revenues based on the different prices and yields that growers might experience.
