Stewardship Coordinator, Nature Conservancy

The Stewardship Coordinator supports the Conservancy’s strategic goals by performing stewardship operations on protected wildlands located in southern California. The primary focus of this role is coordination and implementation of land maintenance and ecological management activities on dispersed properties throughout southern California that are composed of a mix of habitat types, such as chaparral, coastal sage scrub, oak woodland and grasslands.

FCCP Landowner Resource Hub 

The Forest Carbon and Climate Program developed the Landowner Resource Hub, an online resource hub to support landowners and forestry professionals interested in learning about and applying management strategies and concepts related to forest carbon and climate. The hub focuses on resources beneficial to landowners and forestry professionals in the Lake States, but may also be topical to those in nearby communities.

Wood anatomical trait correlations with hydraulic efficiency and safety in a seasonal wet tropical forest

This paper shows how variation in wood structure is related with tree functioning, specifically water transportation from the roots to leaves and helps explain species coexistence and how tropical forests may respond to increasing climate extremes.
