Registration for the Real Christmas Tree Board fall webinar series is now open. The two-part webinar series will take place on September 10 and 24 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. The first webinar will focus on deer repellent products for Christmas tree production. The second webinar will cover promotional resources that are available to all Christmas tree growers that can be used in grower’s upcoming sales season in 2024. There is no cost for the webinars, but registration is required. 

Overview of presentations

September 10. The use of deer repellents products in Christmas tree production. Richard Cowles from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station will outline damage deer cause in Christmas tree production, management options and the use of new deer repellent products. 

September 24. Putting RCTB Promotion Resources to Work for You! A guided tour of all the free resources available to promote your farm or retail location. Marsha Gray, executive director of the Real Christmas Tree Boad, will be joined by Beth Bossio of Quarter Pine Tree Farm and Kate Dodde of Dutchman Tree Farms as they demonstrate how to use available assets, such as logos, artwork, social media posts and more.
