Scientific Reports puts CSIS paper in top 100 Earth science papers of 2017

The journal Scientific Reports has named the paper Climate variability and trends at a national scale as one of its top 100 read Earth sciences papers for 2017.
That paper was written by CSIS PhD student Zhenci Xu and CSIS Director Jianguo "Jack" Liu, as well as CSIS research associate Ying Tang and PhD candidate Thomas Connor, and former research associate Dapeng Li and former visiting scholar Yunkai Li. Scientific Reports published more than 1500 Earth sciences papers in 2017.
