Join Michigan State University Extension and industry representatives at the Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center in Frankenmuth, Michigan, for breakout sessions focused on sugarbeet defoliation, dry bean harvest equipment maintenance, and the most current issues impacting sugarbeet and dry bean production.
Brand-specific breakout sessions will allow attendees to get the latest updates and focused discussion on the equipment they choose. Four Sugarbeet defoliation equipment providers, including Amity, Holmer, ROPA and Richmond Brothers Equipment LLC will be available. Andrew Fahrner, Fahrner Farm Services, will discuss the latest updates for dry bean harvest and harvester maintenance, focusing on a late-model John Deere combine. As in the past, growers will still receive first-hand access to the latest research efforts on topics concerning weed and insect control strategies, varietal advancements, soil fertility, pathology and agronomic updates.
