Take the certified applicator exam in English or Spanish in Kalamazoo County on April 7

The core review and exam to become a certified restricted use pesticide (RUP) applicator will be held in both English and Spanish on April 7 in Kalamazoo. Four RUP credits are available to those with a current license who attend the review.

The exam to become a certified pesticide applicator in Michigan will be offered in-person in both English and Spanish on April 7 at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center, 2900 Lake St, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the program will start at 8:30 a.m. with a review of the National Pesticide Core Manual. This review is required to be able to take the exam and will run until about 12:30 p.m. Following the review, a quick lunch will be served (included with the $25 cost of registration) before the exam starts at approximately 1 p.m.

Those who already have a current valid pesticide applicator certification can earn four restricted use pesticide (RUP) credits by attending the morning review. Lunch is still included as part of the registration fee.
