Tuesday night Fruit IPM meetings begin in March

Join our southern Lower Peninsula fruit educators on Tuesday nights for weekly IPM updates.

Join Michigan State University Extension educators Dan Dick, Derek Plotkowski and Cheyenne Sloan on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Zoom for timely integrated pest management (IPM) updates on small and tree fruits in the lower southern peninsula of Michigan. These meetings will follow a similar format to the long-standing Monday night IPM updates and we are returning to our old format that will include both tree and small fruits.

Meetings will take place Tuesday evenings beginning on March 24, with the final meeting being held on June 23. Our educators will update attendees on what they have seen while scouting across the region and help guide growers on what to be on the lookout for next. It’s a great opportunity for new and veteran growers alike. Anyone is welcome to join but this series is designed for commercial growers. One restricted use pesticide (RUP) credit will be available per session when attending live.
