Two new Enviro-weather stations added in Allegan and Haslett
New and replacement MSU Enviro-weather stations brings station total to 75 within Michigan.
Two new Michigan locations now have Michigan State University Enviro-weather stations. The new Allegan Enviro-weather station was installed April 1, 2015 and is hosted at Badger Evergreen Nursery. The new station was made possible by donations from Badger Evergreen Nursery, Peterson’s Riverview Nursery, Armintrout’s West Michigan Nursery and Green Valley Agricultural, Inc.
The new Haslett Enviro-weather station replaces the Bath station, previously located at the now defunct MSU Muck Soils Research Farm. The new Haslett station is hosted at Clearview Orchards and was installed in early April 2015. Historical data collected by the Bath station is still available on the Enviro-weather website.
Thanks to our friends and supporters for their efforts to help us add-to and improve Enviro-weather station coverage within Michigan.
