Due to inconsistent, cold and wet weather conditions, Michigan producers have had to face deciding to move forward and plant their intended crop, file a prevented planting claim on their crop insurance, or forego planting the intended crop and choose an alternative.
In her article, McKendree further analyzes the choices available to producers and offers insights toward still achieving a successful planting season.
