Hear updates for vegetable and field crop producers in the Saginaw Valley and Thumb of Michigan.
Michigan State University Extension will host the Vegetable and Field Crop Production Update at the Saginaw Valley Research and Education Center, 3775 S Reese Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734, on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is free to attend, and lunch will be provided.
This joint meeting will bring together both vegetable and field crop producers for a full day of timely, practical information from Michigan State University (MSU) researchers, Extension specialists and educators along with other agricultural professionals. Topics will include Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program certification, irrigation management, vegetable disease update and integrated pest management strategies, farm accounting software options, a seasonal weather outlook, MISS DIG 811 safety, and Bulletins Live! Two and mitigation measures.
