Carrie Genova
Carrie Genova is a Michigan native and a class of 2000 graduate of Michigan State’s School of Packaging. She interned at Johnson & Johnson Merck in Lancaster, PA and started her career at GE Lighting in Cleveland, OH. In late 2001 she returned to Michigan and worked in the Automotive industry in various packaging roles. She started working at Whirlpool in St. Joseph MI in July of 2010. She’s currently the Manager of Packaging Engineering for Whirlpool’s KitchenAid small appliances. Carrie has been involved in MSU’s SOP through teaching PKG102 and presenting to student organizations. She joins the board in 2020 and looks forward to increasing her involvement with the school. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, boating, and traveling with her husband, Andy.
