Claire Peterson is an Information Technology Professional with the Applied Spatial Ecology and Technical Services (ASETS) Laboratory in the Department of Entomology, working under the direction of Amos Ziegler. Since 2012, she has served as the data manager for the Midwest Invasive Species Information Network (MISIN), supporting data integration, quality control, and collaboration with a broad range of partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MISIN databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and accessibility
• Lead data integration, quality control, and development of data standards and distribution protocols
• Support geospatial data management and GIS-related workflows
• Build and maintain data-sharing partnerships with researchers, agencies and other stakeholders
