Ignatius Andika is a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Henry Chung, investigating gene regulatory evolution of the fatty acid elongase, bond, across Drosophilidae. Building on his previous experience studying the management of agricultural insect pests, he aims to integrate this knowledge with basic science to better understand insect traits relevant to agriculture.
