School of Planning, Design and Construction

Janelle Curtis is the accountant for the MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction where she monitors all SPDC accounts: Expenditures, balances and income. In her role, Curtis reconciles transactions to ensure compliance with university policies, processes salary redistributions, service contracts, submits invoices and produces special financial reports (e.g., accreditation and gift). She assists with grant pre- and post-award tasks, endowment/scholarship expenditures, maintains gift acknowledgement reports, approves bi-weekly payroll and serves as fiscal officer delegate. Curtis has been with SPDC since April 2015. She is currently a member of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Staff Advisory Committee.
