Kevin Postma
Bio
Kevin Postma is a Ph.D. candidate in Julianna Wilson’s lab, where he uses the eddy covariance method to study carbon dioxide exchange between apple orchards and the surrounding atmosphere. His research also explores the use of deep-rooted native grasses in orchard alleys to increase soil carbon sequestration. In addition to measuring carbon gains, Postma examines how these plant community changes affect soil nematode and microbial communities.
