Lance Fowler
Lance Fowler is the Institute of Agricultural Technology program coordinator at Muskegon Community College.
Lance joined Michigan State University as an AmeriCorps member serving in the 4-H STEAM Corps in 2018. He served his first year in Gratiot County and the next two years in Bay County. Lance's focus areas included short-term SPIN (specific interest) 4-H Clubs, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Education, Family Engagement programming, volunteer recruitment, and building relationships in Gratiot and Bay Counties.
Lance earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (Integrated Science) from Central Michigan University. Before joining MSU and AmeriCorps, Lance was the Gratiot County Fair for Youth (GCFFY) intern/event specialist for four years and the Kid's Day Coordinator for five years. Lance was an active member of the FFA chapter in Saint Louis, Michigan and is a lifetime FFA alumni member.
