Lampshade Traps for Spotted Lanternfly - Materials List

Below are options for acquiring lampshade trap materials. Similar products are also available from local vendors and online retailers.
Trap surfaces:
- Anti-slip grip tape (This is what we use)
- Shingle starter (Another option)
Batting or foam:
(Must be cut to size 1 inch thick x 4 inches width x desired length)
- Cotton or polyester batting (This is what we use)
- Upholstery foam (Another option)
Trap installation materials:
*Alternatively, trap materials may be attached to the bark on tree trunks using a staple gun with ½-inch staples.
