Vaccination helps protect Michiganders of all ages from serious diseases like the flu, measles, and COVID-19 — and keeps our communities safe.
The Michigan Vaccine Project (MVP) was a statewide vaccine education effort led by Michigan State University Extension with support from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
From 2021–2024, MVP shared trusted, research-based information about vaccines through community programs, digital campaigns, and youth-led outreach. 4-H youth ambassadors also created peer-to-peer education projects to help others make informed vaccination decisions.
