The end of 2024 wrapped up a milestone year for the Trap Rock 4-H Club in Houghton County. Though the formal incorporation paperwork has long been lost to time, the club celebrated 2024 as their centennial year.
Joan Dostaler, current leader of the Trap Rock 4-H Club, represents a family legacy of 4-H volunteerism and devotion to community. She's also a dedicated recordkeeper. Joan's personal records, listing 800 members, date back over 100 years. This video commemorates the centennial of this Michigan 4-H club.
