Agriculture and Natural Resources Distinguished Scholarship (ANRDS)

CANR awards scholarships to a limited number of incoming first-year students who are invited to participate in this Agriculture and Natural Resources Distinguished Scholarship competition.

Students are invited to participate based on submission of their MSU application by Nov. 15, grade point average, class rank and standardized test scores. Consideration for the scholarship award requires a separate application and interview.

ANR Distinguished Scholarship

The ANR Distinguished Scholarship is awarded yearly to the top candidate based on participation in the competition and includes $20,000 per year for eight semesters (fall and spring). Renewable over eight semesters (four years) with continuous enrollment in the CANR. This scholarship is applied toward tuition, fees, room and board.

Excellence in ANR Scholarship

The Excellence in ANRS Scholarship is awarded yearly to two candidates based on participation in the competition and includes $5,000 for the academic year divided equally between fall and spring semesters.
