Faculty-Led Programs

On Faculty-Led Education Abroad Programs, an MSU faculty member is with you and your classmates in the host country. The program leader coordinates all academic and administrative arrangements and grades your academic performance.

The majority of the CANR’s Faculty-Led Programs run 3-4 weeks during the summer. The CANR also offers a few programs over spring break and winter break.

It is strongly recommended that you contact the faculty member in charge of the program and your academic advisor to ensure the chosen program meets your graduation requirements.

Partner Programs

Partner Programs offer you a unique opportunity to live abroad for a semester or an entire academic year, without an accompanying MSU faculty member. You enroll at a host institution abroad or participate in a program offered by an MSU-approved provider, essentially becoming a student at your host institution. At the end of your program, you return to MSU to finish your degree.

It is strongly recommended that you contact your academic advisor to ensure the chosen program meets your graduation requirements.

Exchange Programs

MSU and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources also offer a number of Exchange Programs in collaboration with international partners and universities. Programs range from 4-8 weeks in the summer, as well as semester-long programs in fall and spring.
