4-H Cloverbuds (Ages 5-7)
Youth ages 5-7 aren’t quite ready to participate in many of the 4-H project areas and activities that older children can, but there’s still plenty for them to do in 4-H, starting with fun!

Having great communications skills can make a big difference in life and work. In 4-H activities, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in areas such as public speaking, writing, visual communication, video and media.

4-H Exploration Days
This MSU precollege program welcomes youth ages 12-19 to explore their future, try new things and experience college life! During this three-day event, youth will gain confidence and independence through hands-on learning and make friends for a lifetime.

Character Education
Character education is the process of learning common attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that are important for people to have as responsible citizens. Parents, teachers, 4-H volunteers and families can help youth positively develop character.

Michigan 4-H State Youth Leadership Council
State Youth Leadership Council members serve as representatives of the Michigan 4-H program, promoting 4-H through state and local activities, and can provide youth voice and perspective on the development of 4-H programs and curricula.
