Training Opportunities

Required Training

The Introduction to PEARS Events training is the pre-requisite course required for all new PEARS Events users. The training is offered twice per month. The Introduction training will provide an overview of the components of PEARS Events including adding an event, managing event registrations, after event processes, and best practices.  

The introduction training is offered weekly in April and May 2026. Beginning in June 2026, the introduction training will be offered the first Tuesday of each month from 2-3:30 p.m. and the third Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m.  

Training sessions are limited to 30 people. 

Optional Trainings 

After completing the required Introduction to PEARS Events training, you may choose to attend an optional training that offers more detailed demonstrations and guidance on specific features.

  • Adding an Event: Learn how to add a new event from start to finish in PEARS Events. This training will provide in-depth guidance for event creation and should only be taken after the required Introduction to PEARS Events training is completed. 
    • Offered the fourth Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Attendee Forms: Demonstrate how to create an attendee form using the Generic Free Template or pre-existing attendee blocks. 
    • Offered the third Monday from 10-11 a.m.
  • Conditional Logic: Understand how and when to use conditional logic in your attendee forms. 
    • Offered the second Friday from 10-11 a.m.
  • Form Elements: Review the customized question options you can create in your attendee forms.
    • Offered the fourth Friday from 10-11 a.m.
  • Manage Registrations: Walk through how to manage individual registrations after your event has been published, including finding promotional tools, exporting a registration report, and reviewing or editing registration responses. 
    • Offered the second Tuesday from 2-3 p.m.
  • Sessions: Explore how to use and learn best practices for the Sessions feature in PEARS Events.
    • Offered the first Wednesday from 2-3 p.m.
