Graduate Programs

Th''e Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition offers both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degree programs in two areas: Food Science and Human Nutrition.

The department also offers a Dietetic Internship Program combined with a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.  This Plan-B practice-based program with online coursework prepares our graduates to become dietitians in state-of-the-art practice, within diverse and challenging healthcare, food service and entrepreneurial positions. To qualify, applicants must have a Verification Statement from an accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.

The department’s Institute for Food Laws and Regulations offers an entirely online, asynchronous Master of Science in Food Regulatory Affairs and two entirely online, graduate-level certificate programs: a Certificate in International Food Law and a Certificate in United States Food Law.
