FW 75 Years Celebration
The Michigan State University Department of Fisheries and Wildlife is thrilled to mark 75 years of excellence and impact with a vibrant two-day celebration on September 12-13, 2025! This milestone event honors our legacy and shines a spotlight on our ongoing efforts to manage and sustain the ecosystems that support fish, wildlife, and human well-being. Join us for a dynamic lineup of events including:
- Pre-Symposium Morning Meet Ups: Select an indoor tour or outdoor experience to interact with our faculty and learn more about our work. Locations vary - check out the full schedule for options!
- Friday Morning Symposium at the MSU Union: Hear from visionary national leaders about the future of our field. Engage in thought-provoking discussions with innovative scientists, educators, and our external partners to chart a path toward continued success for the next 25 years.

- Friday Evening FW Fest at Bengel Wildlife Center: Celebrate our successes with our community at an evening festival with food, drink, music.

- Saturday Tailgate: Join the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources for a tailgate highlighting Fisheries and Wildlife and cheer on the Spartans!
