Horse Camp
The Ingham County 4-H Horse Camp will held June 18-20, 2025!
The three-day Horse Project Camp is designed to prepare youth for fair and local horse shows. Participants will be grouped together based on skill level and areas of interest. There is a minimum expectation of members to have walk/trot riding ability. This is not a “learn to ride” with no previous experience type of camp.
- 3 Day Camp
- 12 Non-Riding Sessions
- 14 Intermediate/Advanced Riding Sessions
- Customized Tracks for Walk/Trot, Green Riders, and Cloverbuds
- Super Showmanship Clinic & Practice Shows
- Instructors are Trainers/Professional Instructors
The cloverbud camp will be a two-day camp June 19-20 from 9am to 3pm.

- Cloverbud Camp (for 5-7 year olds - they do not bring a horse): The Cloverbud camp runs June 18-19 from 9am to 3pm. Campers must bring their own water bottle, food, and they must wear boots. The camp includes:
- Horse grooming
- Horse bathing
- Showmanship
- Horse equipment
- Craft
Registration Instructions - Horse Camp & Cloverbud Camp
To register, follow the instructions below. Note that if you are adding a new member in 4-H online or recently renewed, the membership will need to be approved before you can register. The county office approves new 4-H participants once a week.
- Login to 4H Online (the system you go to each year to sign up for 4-H): https://v2.4honline.com.
- Select events on the left side of the screen (click on the three lines if you are on a mobile device). You will see the Ingham County 4-H Horse Camp registration link - complete the form.
- Pay for your camp registration by May 1, 2025 (details below)
