Household Hazardous Waste

All Lapeer County residents are welcome to participate in the bi-annual Clean Sweep Pesticide and Household Hazardous Waste collection days.

The next event will be held in the Spring of 2026. Registration will be required and open 1 month prior to the event at LapeerCountyMI.gov (scroll down to the calendar and click on the Community Events tab) or call 810-667-0341 for help registering!

Antifreeze/Gasoline
Drain Cleaners
Household Batteries
Florescent Tubes/Light Bulbs
Mercury
Oil-based Paint and Thinners
Pool Chemicals
Turpentine/Shellac

Non-Allowed Items:

Ammunition/Explosives
Biohazards (Syringes)
Car Batteries
Construction Debris/Appliances
E-Waste
Latex Paint (water-based)
Motor Oil
Smoke Detectors
Tires
