Bioenergy crop research tour on August 29

See up to 15 different bioenergy crops at the Twilight Tour of the Bioenergy Crop Plots at Kellogg Biological Station on August 29.

We would like to invite you to a “twilight” meeting at the Michigan State University Kellogg Biological Station to learn about ongoing biofuel research within the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center.

What: A walking tour showcasing examples of different biofuel crops and research, led by MSU Extension bioenergy educator Dennis Pennington and MSU Department of Entomology’s Ben Werling.

When: August 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Northeast of Kalamazoo at the KBS Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Site. You can park on the grass next to the research plots. A sign will be posted to direct you to parking. See the web links below for a map and directions. Parking will be on 40th street, see the star on the W. Kellogg Biological Station map labeled “Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Site.”
