CANR honors Edwards as 2026 Global Scholar in Extension

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources has named Naim Edwards as the 2026 Global Scholar in Extension. Edwards will be honored during the CANR Faculty and Staff Awards reception on May 6. -

The vision of the National AgrAbility Project is to enhance the quality of life for farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural workers with disabilities. In partnership with Easterseals MORC and Michigan State University, Michigan AgrAbility provides help to farmers with chronic health conditions. Together, we're helping individuals continue working while also supporting their families.

With support from MSU Extension the Oceana Council on Aging is getting seniors in the garden and serving up fresh produce.

Serving those who Served: Nutrition Education for Veterans
MSU Extension brings nutrition education and cooking classes to veterans at Patriot Place in Gaylord, Michigan, which provides transitional housing and support to veterans who are unhoused.
