Jim Slaughter is a practicing parliamentary attorney in the North Carolina law firm Black, Slaughter & Black, PA. He is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian (National Association of Parliamentarians), a Certified Professional Parliamentarian (American Institute of Parliamentarians), and past President of the American College of Parliamentary Lawyers .
